A professor on the theological faculty in Skopje, he was born in 1956 and graduated from the theological faculty in Belgrade in the top of his class. He received a prize that allowed him to pursue graduate studies in Paris. His mentor was Professor Olivier Clement. He received his doctorate in 1997, and knows Ancient Greek, Hebrew, Latin, and several Slavic languages. The author of more than 60 academic works published domestically and abroad, he has also written several books, including Bogomislie, Besedi od Kalishta, Ikoni na Noumenot, Pokrovi na Predanieto, Apofaticka Filosofija, and Istorijata kako Ikonostas.
